Ralph A Posted January 1, 2013 Share Posted January 1, 2013 (edited) A display I have had for some time. The bar at top came to me w/o the service medal. I slipped it in simply for display. Likewise, the bar at bottom is a ribbon bar; all the medals are slipped under it (not mounted) just for display purposes. I acquired the medal and ribbon bars some years apart, but it is generally agreed that they belonged to the same guy. For one, that oversized wreath is a bit of vanity not often seen. Also it is not so common to find HK's married to these sets, as the "supermen" recipients did not generally survive to get them!
