Noor Posted March 31, 2013 Share Posted March 31, 2013 Hi all, I occasionly fix medals that are missing their suspenders, etc. Main hassle with that is to get good quality and reasonably priced spare parts, proper ribbons, clasps. If you guys have some good experiences with some specific dealers, can you please share the information. As an example, I am currently seeking for a KSA a suspender and SA01 and SA02 clasps. Meantime I do not have interest to pay £9.99 + £8 for one single clasp like are available on ebay! Sometimes I use www.justmedals.com but again, prices are quait a dear. What are your sources guys? Mervyn Mitton Posted April 1, 2013 Share Posted April 1, 2013 Timo - you must remember that to get an original silver clasp, the medal has had to be taken apart. Most of the ones offered on line are modern reproductions. However, if they serve the purpose of putting the medal together, then it is a good interim measure.
