    Selam Demir!

Of course, you can! But please do me one favour. Don´t mention my name, because I don´t want to have my name in common with facebook. I hate each social network...

You know my photo of the officer with the 5 upon the helmet cover. You posted it too in your first thread... ;)

    Selam Andreas,

Nice to get in touch with you again.

Thanks for the photos. I will not mention your name. Sorry about the "helmet" one. Time to time I forgot to name the photos I saved. :banger:

    Best wishes

I´ve got a new one too.

    Res.Jg.Btl.11

Note the ribbon to the TWM and the trousers with leather trimmings (used by mountain- and storm-troops)

That picture ist interesting. That bataillon came in 1918 to Palestine and it the photo was taken in Neuhammer (Silesia), the training ground for all troops sent to Asia.Res.Jg.Btl._11_(Lederbesatz,_Eiserner_Ha

    Nice photo.

I have a question: The photo has to be taken after the Palestine tour in order to be awarded with the TWM, but you say it was taken in the training camp.

Can you open this abb. :Res.Jg.Btl.11

    Thanks

    Hello Demir!

    The abb. is Reserve-Jäger-Bataillon 11 (Jäger=Riflemen)

The man must have been served in Turkey before, and then came back to the Training-ground. The Bataillon was in Palestine during Mid-January and Mid-September 1918
