Simple no-photo Feldpost Cards of World War I

Recommended Posts

We all focus on the picture post cards because they offer interesting photos... But there are many simple Feldpost cards out there too...

This one from the Feld-Artillerie-Regiment Nr.115 and extolling the glory of the Kaiser.

I can show this one. It's a card of the Russian Expeditionary Force in France. The Imperial Eagle is already blackened after the Kerensky government took over.

Here's a very plain one, but interesting ... at least to me;

A kanonier in Kgl. Pruess. Fussartillerie Batterie 102 sent this to Cochem Mosel in July 1916... From the Austrian KuK Feldpoststation Nr. 254
