Stuka f
Appreciate any help with identification of the painter and / or the man on the portrait it self. Don't hesitate to ask any question. To me the signature on the painting reads; H.Carls, but I can't find any info under that name. The word Sennelager would mean; "training camp", so I could find. The handwriting in pencil at the back is also a mistery to me...
Bernhard H.Holst
Hello: Sennelager is/was a large training establishment in the western part of Germany. The Malkarton seems a commercially available carton piece on which to paint, came in different sizes? Pencil inscription as far as I can make it out " Heinz Car.. Nieder Wen.. ueber Ha.. Seems to be a name and address Sorry I could not be of more help. Bernhard H. Holst Edited February 17, 2015 by Bernhard H.Holst

Stuka f
Hello, yes it is sold. But I got a other one (for sale !). A police officer on canvas (not framed!). And a far better quality then the doc.
Bayern
Stuka : For me , the officer of the first paint is a beamte and not a doctor . the badge on his shoulderboards is not the medical and the piping of the mutze looks more dark green than kornblumen blau .
