Hi Gent´s,

this year I was able to buy some germs for my collection via ebay.

This is the Medal bar from Stabshoboist Otto Albert Bartelt from

Infanterie Regiment Herzog von Holstein ( holsteinisches ) No. 85

from my hometown Rendsburg.

Not of great value but I love it.

Nice little medal bar! His long service award must´ve been the pre 1913 brooch version?

Hi,

did he go on to serve in WW1?

Unfortunately I don´t know, but I think he did.

A few month before I could by these documents from the same seller.

I bought this piece about 20 years ago at an antique trade in my home town.

Kind regards
Andreas
