    Findng WW2 RAF logbooks

    Recommended Posts

I am researching the life of a Polish pilot whose wife sold the logbooks in 1996 after he died.  The purchaser has since moved and I am wondering how to try and find the books.  The collector was Tony Guy of Liphook, Hants and the pilot was Tadeusz Wisniewski.  My research is for his son and we only want to locate them and maybe see them. Obtaining a copy would be icing on the cake.
Needless to say, I have tried the usual avenues RAF, Polish Squadron etc. but of course since it went into a private collection they were not able to help.
Anyone able to point me in the right direction please?
