Gunner 1 Posted February 27, 2016 Share Posted February 27, 2016 (edited) The booklet is for Senior Lieutenant Petr Iosifovich Voishnits. During the Great Patriotic War he was a Lieut. Colonel and Deputy Commander, 139th Rifle Division, 49th Army, 2nd White Russian Front in 1944 and 1945. He was born in 1902 and joined the Red Army in 1921. He was awarded the Order of the Red Star on 18 Sep 1943, the Order of the Patriotic War, 1st Class on 5 Oct 1944, a second Order of Patriotic War 1st Class on 22 Jun 1945 and the Medal for the XX Anniversary of the Red Army on 22 Feb 1938.
