Kriegsmarine Speciality Badges in Wear

Recommended Posts

Sorry Morten,

just too blurry for me to make out.

The badge below the chevrons could be that of a "Blocking Weapons" specialist, but it appears upside down ?

Cheers,Martin.

Well, I certainly got the first guess wrong.:wacky:

could the arrowed insignia be Geschutzfuhrer? Insignia is blurred and distorted so it is hard to tell.

Cheers,

Larry

Hi,

Geschutzfuhrer is still my best guess. If you removed the out-of focus haze around the symbol it would look very similar to

the Geschutzfuhrer symbol I have posted.

Cheers,

Larry

Here is another portrait that is now in my collection.

Top is Stab (Staff) patch

Underneath is Kraftfahrlaufbahn (Driver/Motor Transport) patch.

Under that is Gefreiter rank insignia.

Hello Larry!

Your last photos is a stunner!

Thank you for your kind words.

Here is another from my wedding portrait collection.

I cannot see clearly what his trade insignia is because the surface texture of the photo makes it difficult to identify.

Any ideas?

cheers,

Larry

Nice photos showing insignia for summer uniform.:)

Here is a photo of what looks to be three brothers, one is Panzer, one is Luftwaffe and the middle is a KM Obergefreiter with a Maschinist patch just visible.

Larry
