I wonder if the NKS citation is signed by Heinz Groth (DKiG) who is listed as Rgt-Führer at that time. He is an unconfirmed winner of the RK with the Ordensträger listing the award as 09-05-1945. As stated on AHF.. 'proposal arrived at HPA on 13.04.1945 ; lacking the comments of OB HGr Süd and the note of handling by Major Domaschk ; HPA proposal Nr. 5088 prepared (21.04.1945), no further handling to recognize ; accepted by OdR in accordance with so-called “Dönitz-Erlass”' Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
