Guys,

This was also with the scrap.  You can see where the liner holes are still visible.  The damage to the enamel is where someone tossed it in the scrap.

Fascinating film, Spasm. Interesting that, as early as 1946, there was such a pressing (sorry!) need that it was worth creating machine tools specifically to convert helmets into cullenders.

They have their post-war uses!, came across this on a vacation to Kefalonia, Itallian?
