There are two variants of this medal, as above, and a post-Soviet Variant. Instead of "CCCP' on the reverse, it is marked "РОССИЯ". Document for the Medal Rescue of a Drowning Person issued to Leonid Makarovich Burlachenko dated April 25th, 1963 by the Chairman of the Kharkov City Council, Serial #043084.
