Solsearcher
My grand dad had a few war medals I'm trying to find out what they were for. Could someone identify this one for me please? Thanks for any help.
augustin1813
I think it is a belgian unofficial medal of an association of "vétérans du roi Albert".
Egorka
Hello Solsearcher! It would be helpful to show the whole medal bar. Often the composition of the awards gives more information than identity of each award separately.
Solsearcher
Thanks a lot, I've started researching my Grand dad's army service records 1930 to 1948 mainly Northumberland Fusiliers. This medal was with his Dunkirk medal. I'll do some Googling to see if I can find out why he was given it. Thank you for putting me on the right track.
