Identification of cap

Recommended Posts

Unsure of the origin of this cap, so will post here, to solicit opinions on its origin and vintage. Looks to be 19th or early 20th Century. Any information will be appreciated. Thanks.

That’t a beauty. I wonder if the badge represents aero-plane propellers or a heraldic device as in the arms of Plymouth, etc. Very nice hat.

On another forum it has been identified as belonging to the Dutch east Indies forces, as bayern suggests.  No idea about the badge.
