Alexei Evert unknown decoration.

Hi all, a bit of help if possible, I came across this image of Alexei Evert in all his splendour, unfortunately I cant identify one breast star, I don't think it's imperial Russian, any ideas, all help appreciated

Looks like an Order of the Crown of the Emirate of Bukhara [Nishoni Todzhi Bukhoroi Dor Us Saltanat] Grand Cross star --  see Werlich's Russian Order book or Megan's website.

Same decoration worn by the Emir of Bukhara as photographed by Prokudin-Gorsky in 1911 ...

... and in the Museum of the Legion of Honour.

Hi yes I've seen that image before but never spotted the star on his right breast, nice decoration though, I believe that it had a red sash and possibly a sash badge

Hi as an update, I knew I had a similar image on file, it's a TIFF image (Whopping 39.5mb), I was able to zoom right in to capture a higher quality image, just for interest

Now that I look, they're everywhere! this guys wearing one too
