Photo Marine officer - Who could I be? Try to guess.

Here one of my pics of the Kaiserliche Marine.

It shows an officer (i think Oberleutnant z.S.) with his wife (?)

and his new awarded IC 2nd class.

As i saw his face, i remembered one person who had a famous reactivation

in WW2 and the years bevor.

Do you know his name (or the person he looks like) ?

he reminds me of Lütjens, but this guy is a Leutnant z.S. and Lütjens was promoted Oberleutnant z.S. in 1913....

OK i had the young Wilhelm Canaris on my screen (nose, ears, hairs...)

May be...

Canaris no , he was a smaller man . perhaps and only perhaps Doenitz .Leutnant z see until March 1916 . when the war erupted he was on board of the Breslau . much later he requests his transference to submarines .
