Thanks for sharing!

I am looking for any Belgian items regarding the volunteers for Mexico, from day one I started collecting.

All I found is a set of uniform buttons. But never the less very pleased to have them.

First of all, I want to congratulate you on winning this rare medal! This was the favorite of the Emperor Franz, Maximilian, who was awarded as an emperor in Mexico. Unfortunately, the emperor who had only been a short time was shot by the Mexican revolutionaries. I can give you a photo as a reference.

Some people have obtained the order of the Virgin of Guadalupe in the Mexican Empire.
