Alex K
Hi all, another EKII I've had for ages, but can't quite identify the maker, I've looked at it from all angles but still not certain, the best I can come up with is CD? any ideas thanks, regards Alex
bolewts58
CD is Carl Dillenius, Pforzheim. Although this is not a typical Dillenius core.

saschaw
Have to agree with bolewts58, this is certainly no "CD" cross! However, I still cannot read the mark... Edited July 20, 2022 by saschaw

However, the mark doesn't read as "Fr." to me, to be honest. But a nice cross still remains a nice cross, nonetheless! graham
I had some fun in flipping the marking and then flipping it again to get this: Not ideal I know but maybe something, very hard to tell.
Peter Cornwell
Graham, That's a more than fair comparison to at least one known example of a Friedlander EKII ring stamp with its typical curved panel edges. The EKI Fr stamp took a very different form. I'm sold.
Marcus66
Here is my CD 800 marked cross. Carl Dillenius Crosses are quite distinctive in a number of areas. Edited August 21, 2022 by Marcus66
