J Temple-West Posted May 17, 2005 Share Posted May 17, 2005 Long service medals (for all branches of the armed forces) come in the following.4 year....Silver medal12 year...Gold medal18 year...Sliver cross25 year...Gold cross40 year...25 year gold cross with oak leaf bar.Each service award has a ribbon attachment in the form of a National eagle (Army/Kriegsmarine) Luftwaffe eagle (Luftwaffe).
