Hello everyone, can someone more knowledgeable help me out.

 

I've reacently purchases this partisan star 1st class thinking it to be the illusive soviet silver version shown here.

 

However mines seems to be different, any ideas?

Thank you so much for the reply, my concern was that unlike the one shown by you, or the golden version, it does not have the star-shape imprint on the back and I found the silvering around the screw post also different and not seen in Mondvor versions shown on the forum.

 

So, you consider it a regular Mondvor first class in silver?

 

it it really means a lot to get confirmation from you, I have not had a chance to see other silver Mondvor stars other than the ones shown here.

I never saw a real silver star before.

2nd class is silver plated.

1st class is gold plated.

 

I heard for a 2nd class solid silver before but never saw it.
