I have three volumes of this series for sale.  These were created in the 1980s for use by NATO. Each of these rare volumes illustrates virtually EVERY military and civilian decoration and award in use during the Cold War for one or more Warsaw Pact countries. Many of these awards are unknown to even most advanced collectors or military historians. Such a compilation of decorations simply does not exist in any other single document or book. This is a chance for you to own a piece of history and, for collectors of militaria, an unparalleled documentary resource. These phots are a sample of how the color plates look.
 

Each volume consists of a plastic-covered four ring binder with full color illustrated plates (along with a number of text pages) covering the decorations and badges used by members of the Warsaw Pact. Vol 1 covers the DDR (with over 170 color plates); Vol 2 covers the USSR and Czechoslovakia (with over 130 color plates); Vol 3 covers Poland (with over 115 color plates).

Language is German but the color plates are largely self-explanatory. However, detailed explanations of each decoration or badge illustrated is provided on the back of each page for those who can read German.

Cost per volume of your choice is $120 (US) + postage. Within the US, postage will be $8. Unfortunately, due to the weight of these volumes (thick and heavy paper); postage will be "about" $76 per volume to mail to Europe.
