Imperial Austrian Franz Joseph Order Knight's Cross on original trifold ribbon and original presentation case.

 

Magnificent original example by Mayer featuring beautifully hand-chased detailing.  Gilding is intact.  Enamel is in perfect condition.

 

Complete with its original presentation case and original trifold silk ribbon.

 

An extremely high quality mid-war example.  The workmanship is every bit as fine as the examples in gold by Mayer for a fraction of the cost.

 

Marked on the ring:  "V. Mayer's Söhne" and "Wien" and a Sternchenpunze
