    On the ribbon of Saxony's Albert Order, this indicates a Knight 1st Class with Crown and Swords. Like Bavaria's Military Merit Order, that could have been an initial award (to Lieutenant Colonels mostly) or a second award of a Knight 1st with Swords-- for Captains and Majors.

    Saxony did not change statute ribbons to distinguish between peacetime and wartime awards. Only the swords did that.
