Eagle: Wehrmacht Gold SCHICKLE Made

In gold and depending on positioning (always in a pair with another eagle) for 25 or 12 years army or navy long service.

This highly distinctive eagle with its massive square shoulders, correspondingly undersized wreathed swastika, and filled in "armpit" under the beak can be EXACTLY attributed as a product of the Otto Schickle firm of Pforzheim, thanks to period sales catalogs discovered by Gordon Williamson. See scans of the relevant catalog items.
