    Swords: Silver WW1 Bavarian

Real silver swords again, on the war merit aka "Beamtenband" of the Military Merit Order 4th class. Bavaria distingusihed between frontline bravery and rear area or near-front war merit by changing the ribbons and keeping the same decorations.

Notice that these swords are the generic pattern, not the Bavarian "bound" style. This bar is attributable to a Prussian Feldpost official, who mounted his combatant EK2 and Saxon Albert Order with Swords ahead of this Order. Not that that native/non-native seems to have affected whether the "bound" style of swords was worn or not. Being in stock at the effects outfitters seems to have been more important.
