A friend had some business at a local farm and invited me to join him. I wasn't overly interested in the business when we got there but the farmer invited me to look around, saying he had a few old cars "somewhere." This 1939 Dodge flatbed was my best find. It hasn't been licensed since 1963 but he has used it around the farm since then. He said "Started right up the last time, must have been a couple of years ago."
Eminently restorable, this old reliable might still have some good years left in the right hands. Where it now sits it will someday just rust into the ground. Well, that's what barn finds are all about.
