He passed away in Tonga a few years ago. Will leave as is. Will put whole group together and display some way very rare I think will all the documents.

As you can see the plaque is named. Included with group is award letter in Swedish and all his IDs for his UN deployments. He retired as a senior police officer and his police badges many sports medals etc are included.

Yes very rare. The group came with about 30 odd items too - insignia, helmet, all paperword.

Does anyone else have a Swedish Korean War medal group in their collection. I have this group to a guy who was security at the Swedish Hospital. He served in several Un Missions as well as Korea. Shaun

Anyone ever seen one to the Fijian Labour Corps?

Yes Full entitlement is 1939-45 Star, Italy Star, BWM, GSM bar Palestine 1945-48 (RAF naming style). GSM named to 1545 SGT PATROS MATTI. He served in the Street Fighting in Athens (aiborne operation December 1944) and the the battle of Sarande Albania 6th October 1945 an amphibious assault with 40th Commando. He is on the nominal roll for both actions as a Cpl. I haven't managed to confirm how he earned his GSM Palestine as the unit was demobed back to Iraq and may have been absorbed into RAF Regiment Armored Car Regiment.
