Hello, After my recent experience with some Chinese Korean War medals (*cough*), I thought I should check here first. So, I am aware that the Fatherland Liberation War Medal is pretty common, but: Are there fakes about? What should I look out for to spot them? Any help is much appreciated! All best, BP

Hi, I've just bought these medals. Unfortunately, I bought them before I had properly researched the topic here (lesson for the future methinks!), and I am pretty much resigned to them being fakes (fortunately I only paid a couple of dollars per piece). Am I right? Are they even copies of real medals or pure fantasy pieces? All best & any information is much appreciated! BP
