    1. They still put that stuff in MRE's. Don't know why, they'll lock you up tight as a drum.
    2. I suppose his DD214 would be considered puplic information. If it were to show up wherever he does, problem solved. JMO
    3. Guys, I've read your posts with great interest. I've got a type 38 with a ground 'mum. I did luck into a nice early war bayo and sheath for it, though. Seems to me we've got something in common, namely that we've all passed up good deals only to regret it later. That might be an interesting thread, we could call it the "Still kicking myself in the butt" forum. Mine was a WWII Dodge ambulance. Rough shape, cracked windshield, needed timing. The guy had 6 extra tires and full replacement glass in the back. The $200 he wanted for it sounded like too much back then. I'm an idiot.
    4. Hello again guys. Has anyone seen the Russian captures available for the last 18 months or so? I picked up a captured 98 for a touch over $150.00. It's been reblued, and the numbers don't match, but it's a fantastic shooter. The markings are crisp and clear and it makes a nice display piece. Good 98's out here in Arizona are VERY pricy and hard to find. By the way Mike, Is that the rear end of an M2 in your pix?
    5. Do we see the tail end of Ma Deuce by the Tech Sarges left sleeve? Like to see more pix. A super collection! I too enjoy WWII small arms from all participants. Larry
    6. Mike, If you're still unsure of what to do with your odds & ends, I think I could find a nice home for them in Arizona. wink wink Nice catch. Really nice.
    7. Pat, I'm a near idiot (or closer) when it comes to computers. However, I have teenagers in the house. I'll post a pic or two as soon as I can catch one of the kids. Larry
    8. Greetings to all from sunny (hot) Buckeye, Arizona, USA. I am in need of some help from the flag/pennant experts out there. I've just received a nice little pennant from the grandson of a vet. It's a JM pennant, black on both sides. the youth diamond on 1 side with J.M. niederlustadt and then what appears to be the letter "p". On the reverse is a 3 legged swastika, for lack of a better term. The whole thing is in fairly good shape with the exception of a separation of 1 seam for about 3". Any ideas as to the approximate value in USD and the symbol on the reverse? Thanks to all in advance, Larry
