    1. Is there anyway to research a numbered Defense of The Motherland Order? Thanks, Rick
    2. An interesting fact.... "someone" bid on the Hohenzollern RKmX @ $1699.... they have exactly two (2) bids, both to this seller ;>) Despite the "I will not list this again statement.... there it is on eBay.... again.... at a lower price. Frankly, she can list all she wants, not one of the individual pieces is priced what it is worth. $1,300 for a trashed SHRK..... not even I am that stupid and I'm pretty certain no-one else in the US or Europe has yet to come close to buying a St. Henry for what I used to willingly pay. She's going to keep racking up an awful lot of money to ebay before she figures out she's making some serious overestimates of value. Wikipedia as a valued resource..... really? I can go to Wikipedia right now and declare the value of these items to be $12.00 each. I can write anything I want there. I guess they wouldn't publish it on-line if it wasn't true..... eh?
    3. Final page and back cover, unfortunately no photo in the back cover.
    4. Second set of (?) regulations, note the nice little cord in national colors!
    5. My small contribution to a rather impressive thread and body of work. Early Sztahanovista badge, case and document. I do not remember seeing a number on the reverse, I will check it again tomorrow. It was really the document that appealed to me... check out the attached, enameled State Seal!
    6. Here's the case this example came in. Hard Plastic, pressed tray with light flocking, cardboard surround, synthetic cloth hinge.
    7. Hello all, here's the new scans. This one came in a hard plastic case. Reverse is plain, so I did not scan it. The plane is there! Looks like a Mig-21
    8. Hi Charles, will pull them back to the house and get the scans shortly and see if the trays come out at all.
    9. Yes, Border Guards, Police, Fire, Internal Security and KDS (Bulgarian Secret Service) all fall under the auspices of the MVR (Ministry of Interior).
    10. Yes, the collar tabs and red is similar to examples I have seen for MVR (Ministry of Interior) Beyond that, I cannot help.
    11. Reverse, unfortunately no document. I assume a late, "political" award.
    12. Badge #5070, a lovely bronze finish and pretty perfect enamel. No number on the miniature, but many hallmarks. Lovely case.
    13. Well, they say if you're going to dive, dive deep. I have to say the enamel-work is quite beautiful and crude all at the same time. I'm not sure how to describe the appeal, but they are very beautiful pieces.
    14. Interesting document set from the MVR to Dimitur Velkov Ivanov on the occassion of his fiftieth jubilee. We have seen a number of sixty-year awards, but this is the first set I have seen for 50 years. Can anyone help with the text? Thanks, Rick
    15. I think we are just seeing the outline of where the plane should be. But it should arrive in a week or so, so I will post better scans at that point. Thanks!
    16. OK, so the medal is correct... just missing the plane. I guess from the fuzzy picture that must just be the outline of where the plane was! Thanks for the help. Anybody have a plane? ;>)
    17. What an absurd amount of money! Take comfort in the fact that it cost her a LOT of money to list it with that opening price!
