    1. This is the Second type of this award (Excellence in The Ministry of Construction & Architecture. This is part of a larger group I will show later. This set was awarded in 1975.
    2. Excellence in The Ministry of Construction & Architecture, with document. This is the first type of this award, the second type actually has a cloth ribbon for the suspension. This set was awarded in 1971.
    3. Excellence in Ministry of Transportation Set. A bit scarce as a set with issue document and the little vinyl folder the medal was issued in. This set was awarded in 1981.
    4. Reverse bears a mirror image, these styles are usually from the late 1940's-1950's
    5. Thought I would open a new thread for any item related to the Border Guard Units. You can add your uniforms, badges, medals, equipment, history.... anything Border Guards! Have fun! I'll start off with this very early Excellence in Border Guards Badge
    6. Hi Theodor, thanks for your help with the translation and for the history. They seemed unusual to me as up until recently, I had not seen groups with this type of combination of awards. Thanks for explaining and giving us a better understanding of the transitions between regimes.
    7. Hi Petr, I had to play with the image to bring out the very weak typing, hope this helps. Can you translate?
    8. A bit earlier Excellent Employee of MVR Badge & Jubilee to Ivan Hristo Ivanov, awarded in 1959
    9. New scan of interior, I have played with contrast to bring out the lettering and stamp. Petr, let me know if this scan is OK.
    10. Another example of an Excellent Employee Badge, document is similar, but the badge seems to be an earlier, bronze piece!
    11. Inside of the document. Note that the photo has been replaced. I was told the image is the same individual...
    12. Another later (1980's) Honored MVR Employee Badge, but notice this is a small folder document, not the big Gramota document we have seen thus far for this particular award!
    13. I've yet to see a Bulgarian shoulder board with that shape.... the ones I have are all six-sided.... Here's an example of a MVR Lt. Col. set
    14. Hello Peter. thank you for sharing this alarming record of history. It may have taken many more years, but ultimately your country achieved its' freedom.
    15. In looking at the two examples we now have of this document, we see the same seal/signature stamp... but what a difference between one being filled out by hand in beautiful script and the other being typed!
