Stogieman replied to Bryan's topic in Southern European & Balkan States
Has anyone ever seen a Yugoslavian Partisan Star, any class.... with a stamped number like this one? Faked number? Faked star? Or, is it actually engraved that well? -

I also picked up an un-numbered set for half what I paid for the numbered set and cheapest I've seen one go yet! It was missing the screw disc, but I have a spare Czech one here! -

I've been a fan of any Partisan item for some time now. I keep watching ebay, but the sets have been going rather high, nearing $200 and up! I finally was able to get a numbered set (422) and it's enroute now. Not as low a number as the few shown here, but I'm very happy with the set and what I paid! -

Hi Radmilo! Thanks so very much on the translation. I very much appreciate the help. I am thrilled to have this document as I did assume it to be pretty hard to find. The nicest thing for me was how early it is and not a later political award. A true partisan received this one. Again, my many thanks!

Unfortunately, I can no longer edit the list on page 1 as I am no longer an active Moderator. I have just acquired my first un-numbered example, Type 2.2! Looks to be near mint, but alas, no case and/or package. Do we even know if these were passed out cased? Any assistance appreciated! -

Sorry, yes. I do have the lapel stud as well. Pretty neat piece! Also, the minis for the later type that are stamped with matching numbers are substantially heavier and of much better quality than the later, un-numbered miniatures. Rick R. was wondering if the numbers on the backs actually coordinate to the Association Membership number? -

Well, you know me..... I'm always looking to re-unite groups. if someone knows where that Combat Services medal is....... feel free to PM me. Thanks, Rick I think Rick Research's comment "common wood screw" is probably wrong. More along the lines of a pan-head metal screw. It does seem to be made this way and not as a replacement soldered on after the fact. The badge looks to be silver to me, but Rick R believes it to be some cruddy base metal..... -

Stabsarzt Dr. Bohr. Doctor Boehr Known assignments 1870/71 (EK2w) Feld-Stabsarzt Feldlazarett 9 of III. Armeekorps 1879 Bataillonsarzt Jäger Bataillon 3 someone has written “Drag Rgt 6” on back of his photo, but retired before 1886 so I have no other annual Rank Lists showing him. The 1908/09 vanity press German Orders Almanac showed him as Born in Zehdenick 7 August 1839, Dr. med., Oberstabsarzt (medical corps Major) retired--Director and Instructor of the Midwives-Teaching-Institute (!!!) at Kirchstraße 42, Lübben in Brandenburg eith EK2w 70, RAO4, 70/71, 1866and 1897. He only received his Red Eagle Order 4th Class on 18 January 1907—at the age of 67!!!! Research courtesy of Rick Research -
