    1. Thanks Greg, I do appreciate the help. It is as I suspected. Now..... just try to find one!
    2. Interior of the document is quite stunning. The only image I have available at the moment.
    3. This document is rather imposing and impressive. After scanning many pages.threads I can find nothing to compare it with. Signature is (allegedly) original. It was awarded to a Bulgarian Colonel in Construction Troops who received a second Bulgarian Award I'll post in a bit. Here's the document:
    4. (Precede with heavy sigh...) Well, perhaps someday a list will appear IF archives ever open and I will at least be able to find out if he received a numbered award, what the number and then start searching the world for it.. I assume I am correct regarding the fact that no award number has been entered on the document? Thanks all for your help!
    5. Alex, are you atating the combination as shown is not possible? Or are you stating the combination described by Jeff is not possible? Or are you stating the bar is impossible even with peace-time awards? My previous statement is that IF the Albert was a peacetime Albert (pick your grade) with a Saxon (early) LSM it is possible for the bar to be real. As an aside, I know I am old and rusty; but last time I checked, receipt of a war time Saxon Bravery award did not require an award of a Prussian iron Cross first. Certainly yes, many men received both awards concurrently and an equal number were awarded one, or the other first; But there is no shortage of accepted, original Saxon Medal Bars with Saxon Bravery awards and no EK2 that I have seen over the years.
    6. It could also be this Bulgarian Honored State Security badge, it's tough to tell from the angle of the award within the case. Note the award date on this document:
    7. PS: I believe this badge was awarded in honor of his 60th birthday in 1981. He also received a Hero of Labor and Dimitrov Order. I now own the photo album that was presented to him to commemorate the occassion... This may actually be a photo of the presentation of this badge. I just have not had time to scan and study every document yet...
    8. Sorry for the delay, busy with a new puppy! Here's the cover of the document:
    9. 4 Bravery awards with a NCO long service. The combination is certainly possible, but I doubt the combination of a Bavarion MVO (officer) with the Hesse and Baden bravery medals. I don't like the style, construction or materials of the second bar. My gut reaction based on the photos.
    10. I'd agree that the Saxon Bar is original, but needs peace-time awards and the first DA. I don't like the second bar at all.
    11. Document to a Bulgarian MVR General. My question is two-fold: A) There is no award number? Or am I missing it? B) I know that Alexei and Igor have both sold late examples of the State Security Honored Employee badge (gilded brass, enamels, no number on reverse) However, no one seems to really admit such a badge exists? This is one of the few pieces missing from this group so I'd really like to get one and complete the group.... but what exactly am I looking for? Thanks!!
    12. Here's a pair of Spartakadia Badges from 1977 & 1979. Note these have the dates on the front and different writing on the reverses. (events?) Also note the change over to the lesser quality suspensions.
    13. My latest Excellent MVR Employee Badge, can anyone help with the name please? Thanks!
    14. And again, finally! But again, I'd love to find one documented!
    15. Here's one that arrived recently, 1 Million Kilometers of flight. It's hand numbered 97.
    16. Nice one Theodor, have not seen it before! I only have a couple of civil aviation badges. Here's one:
    17. here's my awarded set. Document not in the greatest of condition, but I have one!
