    1. Christophe, mon ami.... un medalgroup merveilleux à un dirigeant courageux, merveilliex!
    2. Well, I have been very good this year..... Maybe Santa will send them. I would love to get a copy of the 1972 one.... Library of Congress... next search!
    3. Ok, I looked at this real quick this morning. I think the medal is real (as well as quite rare)... but, I guess I have to echo Vince... I think it should be an EK2. The Bavarian LSM is certainly a WW1 era type? I would be really surprised to find that medal awarded to a Bavarian... when would it have been given? For which conflict? Sorry, obscure enough of a piece that I have never even heard of it being awarded on a white-black ribbon!
    4. Hi Petr, will get scans to you as soon as possible (about 2 weeks). In the interim, here's a picture of the cover page:
    5. Fantastic stuff, thanks! Unfortunately (groan...) now I know some specifics about what is missing!!
    6. Agreed, no awards here from 1944-1976, a very large gap. No Congratulatory documents on the Dimitrov order which for sure he received.... Probably missing additional Mongolian and Cuban awards as well. I never stop looking !!!
    7. Well, this should turn a few heads..... we now have three (3) very distinct types of award documents! Oversized Gramota paper document (A4 sized) Paper folded booklet Hard cover orders book
    8. I had this in my hand.... it took me almost eight minutes to figure it out, but I did figure it out. No coaching, no hints.
    9. There's a number of these kicking about. They have a distinct pin/hinge assembly that's (thus far) unique to this manufacturer. Both Prussian Pilots and Observers have been found. many bear the 800 silver mark. Some bear that mark plus additional ones elsewhere on the piece, including on little silver plates affixed into the hinge well. Nice original badge.
    10. It's a table medal. I've never seen anything this big enameled either! Here's the case!
    11. I have a little piece coming from Shipov.... that's about as close to Jivkov as it gets... More to follow!
    12. Here's an odd grouping of awards.... WW2 Fascist, and Victory over Fascists..... all on the same ribbon bar!
    13. Another first in this group. 25 Years of DOT. Now, I don't know what DOT is, nor the actual award date.... there's no date on this document. Can you help us?
    14. We've seen this badge and its' document a number of times. Full-sized, even miniatures! Seems they left the pin off this one!
    15. The rest of this interesting Chekist group to the Bulgarian general may be seen here: http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=39401&st=0&gopid=364949&
    16. 1986, a visit to the tropics and a Cuban 30 Years of The FAR Medal is awarded. Note the plastic cover. First time we have seen this cover on a Cuban Document. Normal? Just for special VIPS? No way to know for now....
    17. 1984: 40 Years Communist Power Jubilee medal. Note the second incidence of a silver stripe on the document!
    18. See, a busy year! 1981, he receives an Honored Employee of The MVR Badge:
