    1. There was a St. George Medal for Prussians who served in Russia during the Napoleonic Wars so it is possible there was one for other nations as well. Robert E. Smith
    2. The site only covers the period to 1914. For 1914-1918 use the site listed below. There is lots of information but it is a bit harder to use. Robert Austro-Hungarian Land Forces 1848-1918.

    4. The tunic is 2nd Guards Infantry Regiment. The cuff and pocket piping represents 1st Guards Division, 2nd Regiment. The tunic is dated 1915 on the inside. Robert These are very nice looking. What's the first one, and why does the cuff have white piping and the pocket flaps blue? Much appreciate the photos, M Conrad Maryland

    11. I purchased this shirt/tunic several years ago from a well known U.S. dealer. I have never been able to figure out the exact period of use. The shoulder boards are gray. Any help is appreciated. Robert
    12. Hello, The tunic may be from Hungarian Infantry Regiment 46, it had the same facing color and buttons. Robert
    13. The right shoulder area has a button with heavy thread which I assume is to hold a sash in place. Robert, I can not help in this area but I have one question. Why did you say the office had a star with a sash? Regards, Gordon
