    1. I have four of those * marked TWMs in my collection and yours is as good as them. A very nice grouping if they were all together from the beginning. Regards, Tan
    2. Hello Eric, Thank you for the nice words, can't wait to see your contribution! Tan
    3. As promised a long time ago, the mini chain collection with the new additions.
    4. My new German non-combatant medic ribbon bar would be most suitable for this thread.
    5. Searching for Grenadier Adalbert Spiess Ober- Etappen- Inspektion Heeresgruppe F.
    6. Does anyone has any info on Inspektion Heeresgruppe F. ?
    7. Thank you so much for the additional info, I will try to put together a full list of individual units that served between 1914-1918.
    8. Thank you for this detailed list, it helps a lot. Do you have any info on the Militar Mission before the outbreak of war? Tan
    9. You are right Dave, surely there gotta be more units especially the Pasha II was a grand scale war aid mission, thank you for your addition Kriegslazarettabteilung Nr, 300
    10. Alex, thank you so much, I believe your list would be complete with Ferns.abt 1701 ?
    11. Hello Odulf Thank you for your reply, but I am trying to narrow my research down to individual unit names. I have never seen anyone that had put them together.
    12. Hello all Does anyone has a full list of German units who were station around the Ottoman Empire between 1915-1918 ? Tan I have some documents from these units: Fliegerabteilung 301 (The Desert Campaign) Fernsprechabteilung 1701 Militar Mission Konstantinopel (not sure if this could be classified as a different unit or a general name for every unit stationed in Turkey at that time)
    13. Odulf you are right about the name and the EK ribbon, that never captured my attention. Thank you for your precious input now I have a name behind the face and since Hans Voss was on Midilli (Breaslau) it makes great sense to identify him as a recipient of a TWM.
    14. I can not read it, I think Trevor sent me that photo, will ask him if he has a closer view of the marking.
    15. I hope none! Maybe the modification was done in the shop using spare parts, who knows!
    16. Hucks, you are rich, he is not Papa Brinkmann, but this photo was taken on the launch day, almost two years before the the commission date in 1940 so Brinkmann would not be around anyways. This unknown KdS's two row of ribbons makes him a very noticeable officer but still I can not trace him back.
    17. Godet piece is really the most detailed of them all, even more detailed than most of the full size TWM I have seen.
    18. Hello Gents, I wanted to share this new TWM grouping from a German veterans family from Darmstadt. I asked the previous owner and he said the owner of the medals were the father of his wife and the rest of his medals were confiscated by the Americans, he managed to hide only this four pieces. The most interesting thing is the regular pin back BB&Co. modified with a DRGM 653146 the same set up with the Meybauer Screwbacks except the arms are cut out. I think it is a period made modification to fit to the uniform. I would love to get your opinions. Tan
    19. Thank you for your compliments Stijn It is always a nice to shine some light to the fighting units and the personalities behind it. I bought the grouping just because it had the Turkish War Medal and it was represented also the ribbon bar. I will let you know if I decide to part with them (: Tan
    20. Thank you for your compliments Greg, I have one more Halbomnd mini chain coming in, will add it later this week as well!
    21. Thank you for your compliments Kasle, yes would be nice to have that halbmond button in my collection as well!
