Hi Bill,
I have an example but it has to be the grainiest picture I have so it is of little use. Will try for a better image.
To my eyes the G's in Ges. gesch. are different. Also the E and R in BERLIN.

I see the maker marks are different. Close-ups would be more telling. The lettering on the post-war fabrications maker mark would be a comparison point against others.
I meant to reply some time ago. One thought drives out the other.
A. STUBBE produced DRK badges. How do the maker mark and the pin setups compare?

Robert, thank you. Interesting how some went to the extra effort to lock the pin in place.
Happy new Year Don, Robert and all.

I also notice on the Seiboth adler the outer wings, the short line ends squared off rather than angled like the others. Nuances.
Glad it's clear to some. I'm somewhat lost. It is a difference of opinion on marked vs unmarked correct? Side by side is there any distinct difference?

Been quiet here for some time. While I have added a few pieces new to me, they have been pictured before. I still enjoy picking them up and browsing this thread.
Hope you all are doing well and finding new and exciting pieces.
I have had this for a few years, will add it as a visual aid. Worn condition.

Hmmmm, I prefer the 1st version. Can't see why they chose to revise some of the organisation badges that they did.
Always amazed by the number of pieces I have not seen before.
