    1. WOW most of that stuff went for cheap
    2. Maybe Prototype, but could it be a mis-strike too? Were both medals made in the same place?
    3. Wow, no way ! How strange is that...
    4. Sweeeeeet white eagle Mmmmmmmmm : D
    5. I will be tossing and turning too hehehehe hopefully there wont be a days delay in it arriving :D
    6. Peh stop posting here, keep waiting and let us know for the "I am getting" thread hehehe we are all intrigued about that one, no de-tours on that trip hehehehe Although pretty cool in itself with this video, can't wait for the other thread hehehe :D
    7. I'd love to hear the entire story it is always interesting for me to hear from both sides and their opinions on events
    8. They look great good job on the camo :)really like the Panther's
    9. Excellent homage and what a fitting tribute love it
    10. I have to echo the topic above, a lot of fakes are coming out of Vietnam on these types of items. The thing that strikes me odd is the variation in colors, the flag itself looks faded while the "symbol" in the middle is new with vivid colors. Might be some type of homage piece but I doubt it, it just appears fake the quality in the piece just doesn't seem there. Double check with a Vietnamese expert but without touching and feeling it, I'd be extremely careful
    11. The Legion Condor has been very well covered, especially from Spanish sources (from the material available) unless it has new material that was uncovered form private collections, I doubt there will be anything of use if one owns a couple copies of older edition books.
    12. You better get it, or someone gonna get hurt real badddddd (my Russel Peters moment of the day lol)
    13. Here we go, just a small update and 1 question, took some more pics in detail: Order of the Red Eagle Hallmarked with "Wilm" and I pulled back the ribbon on most of the orders I could, just to take a small picture, then returned it to its place :)It has this very interesting ribbon on the backing, is this to signifying the recipient is from Baden, or something else?(took the photo from the EK 2) Thanks all for any other comments and appreciated it a lot :)
    14. This is from an non-expert on St. Anne's but I'll try my best to notice some things and then an expert can confirm or deny these observations. It looks ok on the front except the swords seem a bit harsher than usual, but the reverse is pretty harsh in the soldering and attachment of the swords. If you can get those close ups it would be useful Could you get a picture of the loop (where the 56 hallmark should be not the larger loop that attaches the order to the ribbon), it looks like it cracked or came apart in the middle. From the color on the pictures it appears almost bronze gilt in the tone of color. I think it could very well be a Bronze Gilt Anne. It shows a lot of similarities to these pieces.
    15. Love the instructions great set
    16. Just park it in your local aviation museum Its an "homage" piece and I'm guessing with the price of airfair, this would be easier to build yourself at home (yeah I know how insane it sounds but with the right model prowess it is possible ) Mostly collectors prize the originality of these piece or hash them up for re-use on current flying aircraft, and a F model on a G isn't that great, although interesting indeed. The canopy looks like a re-tool more in line with an E although far from perfect, especially on the front of the aircraft. The engine is missing a couple parts too unfortuntaley all fidgety ones and harder to find.
    17. Maybe even to our Yugoslavia forum ?
    18. I think it is not a live online bidding but you can post highest bid via their site
    19. I'm a new collector at Imperial German, so your guess is probably better than mine the medal bar was constructed after 1916, if you check his pass photo you can see what it looked like prior to the addition of the EK and Baden War Merit Cross, not sure what the standard was at the time, but would be interested to hear some opinions on the matter I've always seen a blue ribbon on these. The long service document should be in that group as well, if not I'll add it tomorrow :D
    20. hmm something like this ? http://gmic.co.uk/index.php/topic/61709-major-koepke-medal-bar-and-documents-group/ If I'm totally wrong, please excuse me and let me know :D
    21. If you like to spread them among collectors, add me to the list, I will take care of all the Baden recipients
