According to memenbers of a French militaria forum I am helping moderating, there is nothing unusual to it. They are quiet rare but not more expensive then any other WWII CdG. They were probalbly oversea's made examples. Sorry Jim I was absent for a while and just answered without checking the poste.

Bill over here allways come in two parts, one is the duty part, the other is the cost for administration. So even if you don't need to pay duty, there is allways the second cost.

Thank you! Only if the sales room is willing to give me the name of the seller, AND assuming they are or where related to the original owner.... You are right! It takes 4 days to ship a item from the US to Belgium, and customs need 8 days to check it. Taxes and duty on import are even more ridiculous!

Hey Peter, thanks for your help. The blackened rear didn't fell good eighter to me, so did the lug's. Jerry all ready gave a negative advice on it on WRF. And I know he is right about that. ;-) -

Hello, could you help me judging about the authenticity of this badge please.To me it doesn't feel good, but it just is a guts feeling, so I would like a better opinion.It seems pretty heavy to me; nearly 50 gr. (47 to be exact.)
