    1. Thanks for the reply Brian I've Pm'd you So it definately is a Wagner & Söhn. I ha thought as much.
    2. I'm looking for a WWI EKI & both WWII EK's if you know where's a good place to look for a resonable price and little chance of getting stung by a fake (as I'm not that clued up yet to judge my own opinion) I did say to the guy that £40 was at the top end of the going rate in the UK for this kind of award but to be fair I didn't have to worry to much that it may of been a fake, (being as it was me who asked him if he had anything) & i guess i look at it that i didn't really pay anything! As the £40 ireally just came "off" the price of his purchase from me, which with the EK inc took it to the full asking price! which to be fair I wasn't expecting to get. I would of happily took £40-£50 less than I got so really I got an EK II for free & a tenner over what I was expecting So I'm definately happy I just missed out on a job lot of medals 3 x of which are on my "wish list" for a mere £60 inc a hj badge, ost medal, and war merrit! Do you think £20 is a little steep or OK for a 25 Yr Faithful Service Cross?
    3. Hi Tony, Thanks I am 99% sure it's good now, I posted in some other places & have had the thumbs up across the board. Plus I got it from the Great grand son of the recipient who has also offerd to put me up after christmas in the black forest so I don't think he'd be taking me for a ride knowing i'm coming over. I'm going to travel around Europe and see all the places I've been reading about during the Nazis push across Europe, hopefully. (18 countrys, just me & my metal detector in 6 months.. ) I have also got the recipients name 'Josef Hübsch' and that he was a private in a Flak Kp so thats a nice little bonus to know, just for my self Thanks for your reply Tony I always appreciate some one willing to help
    4. I don't know what happend above it apperas I posted the same photo twice by mistake! My Grandad always told me to measure twice, cut once, I guess I still haven't learnt to check my work before comiting The other side of the EK should be above
    5. Hi everyone Brand New member so be kind this is my first time posting. I "bought" this as a part exchange for some Tamiya paints i was selling to some one in Germany. I decided to ask if he had anything relating to WWI or WWII (as you never know) being Germany is full of children & Grand children of WW vets. & he siad he had an EK II from WWI that used to belong to his Grandfather! So we came to a deal (aprox £40) off of his payment! And it arrived today! I am definatly no expert on EK's or any Membrobilia to be honest I'm relativly knew to this collecting so would really apreacite any input? It has 'WS' maker stamp on the ring, I'm guessing thats for Walter Schott of Berlin? & has the Original Ribbon. That's pretty much all I can say for sure! The Two Pictures were the originals from the seller, If need be I can get out my Digi cam & take some better ones just ask. Thanks in advance. (BETTER PICTURES UPLOADED)
