hi Chris no date stamp or arrow, but the gas mask and sheepskin helmet all came in the same box from the same house, unfortunately it was a deceased estate so no one to ask questions, but the three items are linked, have you noticed the name wilbur Wright -369- in the ear piece , could that be the pilot and squadron ? Cheers

German ww2 snuff box
bluerinse replied to bluerinse's topic in Germany: Third Reich: Uniforms, Headwear, Insignia & Equipment
Thanks , when you say post ww2 do you mean recent fake ? I am normally a bit weary of fakes, the ware is quite authentic as the engraving is almost worn away on the base, but I know that could have been done to deceive. Cheers -

Hi I purchased this cap in Cornwall last week and I'm looking for help identifing, age and regiment etc any info welcome, the cap is in resonble condition with some sticking in the interior undone, it has a leather strip inside with " roam leather" stamped into it. Also there is a name and number written in pen on the inside of the leather, there seems to be a waterproof interior as well, will add photo of the name cheers all

Hi Again, I was wondering if anyone is able to offer suggestions to which uniform this may be on a bronze tray/pipe rest I have purchased, I’m thinking German WW1, If anyone has any ideas I will be very grateful, unfortunately the casting is poor so not much detail, but its a little bit saucy whis makes it a fun item, Cheers and Thanks kindly in advance.
