    3. Fritz : Yes ,its possible .the Royal Bavarian Army at the beginning of the war numbered 23 line Infantry Regiments and the Leib Rgt . except the Leib ,all weared Shoulderboards with only the number in chainstitching as your SB.
    4. General staff patches for M1910 uniform were crimson . a rather pinkish red . the patch that you shows is for me a General Staff one.
    5. Appears as Dutch WW2 era . Air Force of the Colonial Army .but the badge doesnt fit .

The Royal Bavarian Army was a independent one . their units were not numbered into the Reichsheer.at the beginning of WW1 numbered 4089 active officers , doctors , veterinarian and beamten. and 83125 NCOs and soldiers.It was organized with three Army Corps ,six Divisions .each division with four Infantry regiments . numbered apart .

Hello Stormrider, You have reason , badges specially Third Reich ones is a minefield. twenty four years ago a Austrian expert , collector and seller of Militaria told me that with a growing market for TR era Militaria . some people had begun to manufacture badges and Iron Crosses. using old original machinery and materials .How ? Well , these people were son or familiars of wartime contract manufacturers .when the war was near the end , they concealed machinery and materials .to not be punished . after the fall of the Berlin Wall and the Eastern Block , they reinitiated the bussines.

    9. Certainly ,a mixed lot .first from the left , Bavarian Jaeger, then Saxon Jaeger or Rifleman , Bavarian Leib ; Artillery officer ,Bavarians dont wears ball topped helms for the Artillery . then I am in doubt.

    12. Wraith 42 : Gentleman Morar either not read my posts or dont understand me . Yes its a pre war field uniform of general use before the adoption of the pike grey one .It comprised a blue Bluse identical to the later pike grey ; pike grey trousers . and a field cap . the parolis (facings) were in regimental colour . The Hungarian Honved had madder red facings ; Hungarian trousers in pike grey with hungarian knots in red over the front of the thighs and black ankle boots . gold buttons were used only in the cap and shoulder tabs. later with the adoption of the pike grey the colour of the facing of Honved infantry changed to Slate grey.but surely you know all this .
    13. Morar Andrei : The car of the left is a Austin Putilov . the car of the right looks like a Peugeot armored hull on a Renault chassis.the disc type wheels suggests post WW1 date
    14. Carol I : Thats the point .In 1936 Voivoda Mihai was too young .I think . Remember that he was commisioned in the Romanian Army just in 1937. Exists another possibilty . Post War .after all Benes was again president and King Mihai was an Allied chef of State
    15. Beautiful . and rare .Military . Hard to date .perhaps a closer photo of the buttons would be useful .because of the crown .
    16. The photo is taken during the visit of Benes to Romania . Prince Mihai wears a military uniform with no visible badges of rank .evidently the photo was made in the moment of Little Entente meeting as Prince Paul is present too .the last officer at the right appears to be Prince Nicholas . The date is June of 1936 . after , King and Prince visited Czechoslovakia .perhaps he the Prince ,was awarded in this visit.
