  1. These 3 photos show Grossadmiral Erich Raeder. I can't see Dönitz on any of the photos.
  2. I doubt it. I think the naval wound badge makes the most sense. He was wounded in WW1 after all.
  3. Looff wasn't active in WW2. He retired in 1922. And he was Placed at the disposal of the Kriegsmarine without being mobilised on 24 May 1939. I highly doubt he would get the anti-partisan badge.
  4. On the only photo of him I have, he is not yet wearing the ribbon of the Bulgarian Order of Military Merit. On that photo he is a Konteradmiral. So he had to recieve it either as Konteradmiral or Vizeadmiral.
  5. Hello. Can you please help me identify the awards of Vizeadmiral Lamprecht from his ribbon bar. I am most interested in the foreign awards in the second row. His list of awards I have: -Eisernes Kreuz (1914) II. Klasse -Eisernes Kreuz (1914) I. Klasse -Hamburger Hanseatenkreuz -U-Bootskriegsabzeichen (1918) -Ehrenkreuz für Frontkämpfer -Wehrmacht Dienstauszeichnung IV. bis I. Klasse -Spange (1939) zum Eisernen Kreuz II. Klasse mit 1939 Spange - Hamburger Hanseatenkreuz - Ehrenkreuz für Frontkämpfer - Wehrmacht Dienstauszeichnung I. Klasse - Wehrmacht Dienstauszeichnung III. Klasse - ??? (not visible unfortunately) Second row: - ??? (rosette device) - ??? (rosette device) - Großoffizierskreuz des Königliche Orden der Krone von Italien (I was told this is the ribbon on another forum) Thanks
  6. Here is another photo. Does it confirm it is the Order of Savoy?
  7. Thanks. Could it also be the Commander's Cross of the Order of the Saints Maurice and Lazarus?
  8. Hello. Can someone tell me what is this Italian neck award worn by Karl Dönitz? And what class of the award? Thanks
  9. Sorry, this is the only photo I have. Maybe you can try and zoom in? I was told it could be the Commander Class, since Borne was a Vizeadmiral?
  10. Hello, no one was able to help me on the Central & Eastern European States thread so I will try here. Can someone help me determine the class of the Bulgarian Order of Military Merit from the last ribbon on this uniform? The uniform belonged to a German WW2 Vizeadmiral, Kurt von dem Borne. The device on the ribbon seems to be a crown and swords? Any help is appreciated. Thanks
  11. To kick off the thread. Unknown #1 Does anyone recognize this Konteradmiral in the middle?
  12. Hello. Can someone help me determine the class of the Bulgarian Order of Military Merit from the last ribbon on this uniform? The uniform belonged to a German WW2 Vizeadmiral, Kurt von dem Borne. The device on the ribbon seems to be a crown and swords? Or only the swords? Any help is appreciated. Thanks
  13. Hello Heiko. Here is a photo of Schultz from the book "Deutschlands Admirale 1849-1945, Band 3", by Hildebrand & Henriot. Sorry for the quality, I took the photo with my phone. It shows Schultz as a Konteradmiral. Some info about Schultz's ranks: 27. 01. 1912 Konteradmiral 17. 06. 1915 Vizeadmiral 04. 09. 1919 Charakter als Admiral Regards Karlo
  14. Vizeadmiral Leopold Siemens second from the left. First from the left: Vizeadmiral Leopold Siemens In the middle (with beard): Kapitän zur See Hans Rose, recipient of the Pour le Mérite!
  15. I want to start this thread to help anyone with identifying Kriegsmarine Admirals from photos. If you need help with unknown Admirals please post them here. I am starting this thread in hope that members of the forum will share with us their photos of Kriegsmarine Admirals. You can also post any photos of Kriegsmarine Admirals you have, that show already identified Admirals. I also have a number of photos with unknown Admirals I need help with (I will be posting them here), so if you have any idea who they might be please share your thoughts. Thank you
  16. Thanks guys. Could #2 be the Order of the German Eagle? If yes, which class? And do you agree #3 is the Grand Cross of the Romanian Order of the Crown? I also found this photo, from the funeral of Tsar Boris III of Bulgaria, dated 5 September 1943. #4 ??? (breast star) #5 ??? (neck order) Thanks! P.S. Did anyone find a list of his A-H decorations perhaps?
  17. Hello. Does someone have the full list of Uthemann's decorations? Preferably not written in abbreviations Thanks!
  18. Merry Christmas everyone. Colonel General Vilim (Vilko) Begić, last A-H rank was k.u.k. Oberst, Intendant officer. The only photo of him that shows his awards is this one. I apologise for the poor quality and the fact that he is standing sideways. But this is the best I could find. I don't know if anyone can recognize any A-H awards from his medal bar? If not, perhaps someone could find them in a Rangliste? Regarding the breast stars: 1 ??? 2 ??? 3 Grand Cross of the Romanian Order of the Crown ??? I think there is one more breast star to the left of number 2? Not visible though. Thanks!
