    1. Studio portrait of Konteradmiral Ludwig Stummel. He served as the Chief of the Department for Naval Intelligence, Naval Warfare Command, OKM (28 December 1939-15 June 1941), Chief of the Central-Department of the Office-Group for Naval Intelligence, Naval Warfare Command, OKM (16 June 1941-30 April 1943), Chief of the Office-Group for Naval Intelligence, Naval Warfare Command, OKM (01 May 1943-16 August 1944) and then Higher Commander of Naval Signals and Detection Schools (14 November 1944-15 March 1945). Stummel was most notable for being the person responsible for the cryptographical security of the Enigma cipher machine and Key M infrastructure security, during World War II. Some interesting facts about him. He had a glass eye and a limp. He was a fervent Catholic. His faith gave him a moral compass during the latter years of the war. Initially a supporter of the Nazis, he became doubtful as the war progressed.

    21. Possibly Konteradmiral Werner Schönermark at an unknown barracks, date and place unknown. If anyone has any additional information about the location please comment. I am not 100% sure the admiral is indeed Werner Schönermark because the quality of the photo is bad. Below the photo is a comparison of photos of Konteradmiral Werner Schönermark (top row) with the close-ups of the admiral on my photo (bottom row). Please comment if you think it's the same admiral.
