Here's the second on a replacement ribbon that is period, silk... I don't know if you guys remember years ago when a huge stock on period ribbon was offered on WAF but I got this along with other ribbon. It seems too dark for St Henry to me. If not St Henry what?

This is a nice bar is really good condition. I especially like the crown device over the swords. This good on a uniform but I've parted with most of my turd reich tunics. I would trade it for one without the Hindenburg Cross.

I consider this a not too common ribbon bar. It's in worn condition but still nice. This is most likely an NCO bar for the Silver Medal of the Max Joseph Order. I would like to think this could be ID'd but this is not s rare combination.

I have three bars that I can find that have the mini EK on the Prussian ribbon. I'm very happy Rick has posted images of this style in wear during the war. Does anyone have photos of this style device in wear during the war? Second bar, this is another common bar.

Man Christophe, your wife can find you these nice bars and I can find one to save me life!!! Whut up wit dat? I like the swords device. Its amazing to me there were so many devices meant for specific awards. I wonder if these devices were more specific to certain locations or if all shops had a full inventory. I can't imagine most shops would have everything necesary to make any bar on demand. Heck, maybe back then people didn't mind waiting 2,4, even 6 weeks for an item.

The swastika and date have no paint or were polished. Was this done by the wearer or could these be purcahsed this way?

Super photo. His awards indicate he performed his duty well in two wars. Maybe he was transferred to a non flying posting. Would a non flight posting allow him to wear the retired badge? The retired pilot badge is an odd badge to me.

Double error What device would have been there? Should silver or gilt swords been on it or perhaps nothing? Why is it this way, did he want others to know he received a higher grade or officer grade from Waldeck? This bar is really nice but I'm growing tired of the darn thing.

new EK1 on the way. Opinions I haven't purshased any in years. i used to buy all the silver marked pin backs I could find then I went to KO issue crosses. This will be my first KAG. I need a few for my tunics.

The second bar is nice.

Okay, so the regular LS are gold/gilt and the Landwehr crosses are silver with gold center disk.
