    1. Please explain how to determine regular long service medals from Landwehr. Images would be of great help. I just saw a nice Landwehr Cross posted by Motorhead. http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=24019
    2. I do hope is can be proven that he is on the Bremen rolls. This would be my first 100% ID'd bar.
    3. Here's my small contribution but not for a lack of trying. I know, the crown is an enigma...
    4. Can someone tell me (off line) approximate values of the Hanseatic awards? In all my years collecting I've never purchased any of the three because they were common and inexpensive. Its time to correct that.
    5. Well, if you want to use logic then... I haven't learned the difference between a KOXmK, a RAOXmK, and a HHOX... I'm way behind you guys when it comes to ribbons and abreviations. Speaking of being behind, what does mean? I'm stupid!!!
    6. Is the crown superimposed over the swords represent Crown Order? I thought is was a variation for the HHOx
    7. Could it really have belonged to Reinhard Thaler, in 1914 Hptm in Telegraphen Btl 6? It looks like a bar for a man who got around.
    8. I was looking through some old post on another forum and came across two super long ribbon bars. I am eager to learn if anyone here still owns them and if ID was ever psossible. Here's the first one, Rick should remember it. "armpit to armpit" Whose is it?
    9. Is it safe to say yhe first bar shown belonged to Eugen Duerr/D?rr???
    10. Rick, is there a chance he was a carrer NCO and then commisioned a LT dR in the Landwehr during WW1? I'm often amazed by the way promotions were distributed. Offizierstellvertreter, Feldwebel-Lt, Lt dR... __________________________________________________________ Dete, does everything on the shelf belong to Lt Fuoss?
    11. Maybe its a prewar Litewka with the black/blue trousers. Maybe those who are far better with photo analysis can help you but I can't determine they are cavalry myself. Infantry and artillery officers also rode horses.
    12. Well, The boards are Prussian and the 111 seems to be original. Maybe he was the first commander and maybe he was Prussian. I don't know for sure if the unit was made up of Hessen men or available units from other areas.
    13. Yeah, you don't see the long service medals on mounted ribbons often. I wonder why?
    14. Wow, those are nice. Either of those would look great on my Leibgrenadier100 Unteroffizier tunic.
    15. As requested, one of the ribbon bars that has been displayed on this tunic.
