    1. I knew I had it here, problem was I was looking at it so I couldn't see it...
    2. I agree, a book is better. I enjoy my books much more than the internet but it seems the world is heading paperless. That's all I hear, it seems, at the office. I myself still print my reports so I can read and study them. But then, I'm not really one of the new generation... x or y...
    3. Rick, why don't you guys publish your book in a CD/DVD format with text and images. I'm sure everyone would be happy to have the roles in any format you can produce. I'd pay for a nice disk with the roles and maybe images of the awards and photos of recipients. Man, it would be something you could do either yourself or with a little help from an expert. Just think, if everyone agreed to volunteer an image and a photo you could have one heck of an E-Book.
    4. Here's a nice ribbon bar I received today. Can anyone tell me who the original owner was? Oh yeah, the person who sent it to me is excluded.
    5. Wow, what's the story behind this one? This is a first for me, I know they exist but I never thought I'd see one that old.
    6. Here's my Ruess Silver Merit Medal with Swords. I haven't had it a long time and I'm not sure how common/rare they are.
    7. This bar is odd. I bought it from Detlev in a group of ribbon bars years ago and its definitely real. I wonder if its early or late war to have only crossed swords. I don't know all of the Waldeck orders and decorations so I wouldn't know what a crown would represent. I have seen crown and swords on a White Falcon ribbon and don't understand because all classes had crown.
    8. 3. Badisches Dragoner-Regiment Prinz Karl Nr. 22 was part of 221. Infanterie-Brigade as was F?silier-Regiment Nr. (Hannoversches)73. and Infanterie-Regiment Hamburg (2. Hanseatisches) Nr. 76. Would this improve the chances of an officer from the 22nd Dragoner Rgt receiving an award from other states?
    9. Thanks Rick, what was the connection to Saxe-Weimar, Chef of Regiment or a royal serving in the unit?
    10. Who's that general in the photo C? I like the WE Cross Here's my White Falcon. I'm a HUGE FAN of Saxen Duchies but nobody likes to share. (hint to Chris D )
    11. Many of you are very knowledgeable on the matter of what members of certain regiments were likely to be awarded because of Regiments HQ location, Colonel-in-Chef, Royal members, and combat assignments. Would someone tell me the most likely awards that are probable to the following Regiments? I understand they are likely to receive units from their Kingdom or Duchy but all the other awards are unknown to me. Prussian LGR8 officer (LT) Saxon LGR100 NCO Baden Dragoon Rgt 22 officer (1LT) Prussian Husar Rgt 12 officer (LT) Prussian General Staff Officer (Mjr) Hessian Inf Rgt 116 (F/LT)
    12. Darn, I've been looking for one of those for YEARSSSS!!! Can I have the other one? Those are super awards and I'm partial to Baden
