I like your Leonrod items. I was trying to get one of his field gray caps to display next to my Castell-Castell.

Usually photos of Graf zu Castell-Castell Ive seen are along side the King. Here’s a good one, Castell is the tall thin man to the left in the rear with the aiguillette.

Nice work. How’d you find the photo?

Sad story for the young man.
His father may have been awarded the grand cross of the Bavarian St Michael order. I think he war awarded a few higher grade orders orders cross.
I suppose is could also be the Österreich Franz Josefsorden, Komturkreuz mit der Stern

This is Otto Friedrich Graf zu Castell-Castell at the wedding of his oldest son Dr. jur. Luitpold Alfred Friedrich Karl Graf zu Castell-Castell (1904–1941) with Alexandrine Louise Caroline Mathilde Dagmar Prinzessin von Dänemark (1914–1962) in 1937. That could be a EK I to the left below the star, but I just can't make it out.
Very interesting. Thanks for posting this and I think it could be an EKI but just hard to say. It would be nice to see more photos of him in dress uniform. What’s the Breast star?

It may be the scans but seems to have poor detail

I understand, I’m trying to narrow my focus to the items I need to complete a few displays.

Chris, are you still collecting Imperial German uniforms and equipment?

The fellow on the right? I don’t see a resemblance to eugene in either of the two men but I’m only going by a photo of young eugene for comparison

Which Prinz of Württemberg was a Hauptmann in Grenadier Regt 119 during WW1?
I’m sure someone on this forum knows and possibly has photos.

Thanks, i have WW2 version in case that I may part with.
I have a few Bulgarian, Romanian, and Polish decorations I may need to part with as I focus on Imperial German and foreign awards to German in WW1.
