    1. Hi Jeff, I think, that it is Schlaraffia (based on the owl): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schlaraffia Uwe
    2. Hi, no problem: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Felix_von_Luckner Uwe
    3. Hi Marcin, Das ist die erste Linie (front line? = it is better to have the picture for a translation) Das zusammengeschossene war eine Bahn. gell da schaut es nett aus. Gruß. (?) Wiedersehn. Uwe
    4. Meine liebste Lotte! A. 24.4.34 Uwe
    5. Hi, I think, that it is a Belgian beret emblem, for recruits. http://www.insignesmilitaires.be/insignes_militaires_medaille_armee_parachutiste_pages/Photos/Belgique/93.recrues.jpg Uwe
    6. Hi, as I can see it, the latest award on the card is the Bavarian Order of Merit, instituted in June 1957. And we can see the early "neutral" colours for decorations without a ribbon, for "Bundeswehr" and "Bundesgrenzschutz", No. 72 (grey) and 102 (green). Uwe
    7. Jason, "Since this cross is gilded ..." Officer cross is correct, because the Knight Cross is in silver. My error, I have not looked on the colour. Please see in the listing No. 4: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Order_of_Adolphe_of_Nassau Here is no special class: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Order_of_the_Oak_Crown Uwe
    8. Hi Jason, I think, that you mean the Order of Adolphe of Nassau with the own class "Cross of Honour for Ladies", a Commander class (not Knight or Officer). It is a special class of that order, added in 1914. Uwe
    9. Hi Jason, I think, that it is a normal Knight Cross with a ribbon for women. Why should they change the name for a woman? Uwe
    10. Hi Lukasz, it can not be the Blücher-Orden. It is a very unusual combination on this ribbon bar. It seems, that someone had included some DDR ribbons without knowledge. What you call Blücher-Orden could be the DDR "Verdienstmedaille der NVA" in silver and gold, both wrong placed. And another ribbon could be the DDR "Medaille für treue Dienste in der NVA" (marked green), complete wrong. Correct are the yellow marked ribbons: - Patriotic Order of Merit in Gold (1981) - Scharnhorst Order (the first from 1972) - Kampforden "For Service to the Motherland and the People" in Gold (1970) Please see here a later ribbon bar with very different ribbons to the one shown here (now with three Scharnhorst Orders): http://files.myopera.com/Henry69/blog/Marshall_Kulikov.JPG Uwe
    11. Hi Paul, Deutschritterkreuz http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deutschritterkreuz Uwe
    12. Hi Troy, the price is acceptable. I told it Mr. Hüsken several times, that most of his prices are fantasy prices. Uwe
    13. Hi, it is for visitors, purchasable: http://www.flickriver.com/photos/23885771@N03/4679163067/ Uwe
    14. Hi John, "... but a different style than was worn in the early 1960s." This style was worn several years: Superior immediately after leaving the official car during receipt of the report Uwe
    15. Chris, I think, that it is Weichsel (last rank Generalmajor) Rank list 1913: Maj. Weichsel in 2. Lothringisches Feldartillerie-Regiment Nr. 34 Uwe
    16. Hi Steve, definitely not Bundeswehr. Uwe
    17. Hi Chris, 94: Bavarian Oberst Frhr v. Perfall and Generalmajor Weniger 95: could be Simon Kraus (there is definitely an u, see in Erinnerung). A member of Schneeschuh-Bataillon 1 in Immenstadt? Uwe
    18. Hi Jean-Sam. Karlen, for example: http://antique-photos.com/en/awardsdatabase/german-empire/prussia/307-medal-virtuous-helvetia.html Uwe
    19. Hi, Post 30-32: http://gmic.co.uk/index.php/topic/30280-unknown-arabian-order/page-2#entry301582 Uwe
    20. Hi taras, the piece on the right is not from the Sultanat Kathiri. It is a decoration from the German society "Schlaraffia". See the central crest: http://www.infrundsbergsmauern.de/index.php?id=7 Uwe
