    1. Hi, the man would wear a bavarian jubilee medal, the helmet could be bavarian municipal police and the axe could be a ceremonial (awarded) mining axe. Regards Uwe
    2. Hi, this piece is pure fantasy, based on the design of a 1957 version (infantry assault badge): a "bird of paradise". Uwe
    3. Hi seany, I don't talk (write) about prices, but this is a better one than many others. Uwe
    4. Hi seany, it is a member's badge of the organization Deutsche Christen e.V. (DC) = German Christians (e.V. = incorporated society) Uwe
    5. Hi Grant, I'm surprised about the ribbon bar. No medal Treue Dienste Silber for 10 years? Very unusual. Hervorragender Jungaktivist? The paper is upside down. Verdienstmedaille der Kampfgruppen der Arbeiterklasse? The paper is upside down. Kevin, that could be for certain merits. In my collection is a set of documents for a Lieutenant General with that medal (Kampfgruppen) in silver. Regards Uwe
    6. Hi, Kammer der gewerblichen Wirtschaft f?r Wien = Chamber of the commercial economy for Vienna F?r treue Mitarbeit Frau Elfriede Chrobacek Wien = For loyal cooperation Mrs. Elfriede Chrobacek Vienna It could be for 25 years. 10. KAG in Post 3 is correct Uwe
    11. Hi, not carnival, but I think it is nearly the same, a "Reservistenabzeichen", a reservist's badge during his last day as soldier. In the upper field something like "Reserve hat Ruh!". (Sorry, I can not translate it with a Translator ) Sascha could be likewise right. Uwe
    12. Hi bigD, try it now: I think, it is BD800 BD is the maker (?), 800 the silver content Regards Uwe
    13. Hi, I want to show you this badge . It is not Deutscher Turnerbund, but have a look at the design : And here is the direct comparison, 1922 - 1933: Regards Uwe
    14. Hi andy, Obergefr. = Obergefreiter = PFC 1. Bttr. K.S. Fu?a.-Btl. Nr. 152 = 1. Batterie k?niglich s?chsisches Fu?artillerie-Bataillon Nr. 152 The signature could be Emrich. Regards Uwe
    15. Eric, you have found your king Ludwig Fries? http://www.sgnes.de/ Uwe
    16. Hi, I don't think, that the first medal is for a "Sch?tzenk?nig". It is the name, Johann K?nig or Johannes K?nig. The second medal is definitely a price medal, and I think, that both were price medals. I Ritter, II. Ritter, Fl?gel, and other descriptions stand for different prices in a shooting on a bird. The bird has different parts, called Pfand or plural Pf?nder (see catchword Vogelschuss): http://www.jaegerzug-martinus.de/htmlseit/events.html The members and the guests of a shooting association shoot on different birds (Ehrenvogel, K?nigsvogel, Pf?ndervogel etc.), with a different number of the "Pf?nder". The first one, who shot down a Pfand, received a special price (it could be a goose, it could even be a medal like this here in the thread, it could be both). The shooters who had shot the first parts of the bird could be appointed knights (Ritter). "Er schlug die Pf?ndersch?tzen zu Rittern und ?berreichte ihnen den Pf?nderorden." The "Pf?nderorden" could be a medals or a cross, please see here for example: http://www.steinlueck.de/schuetzen/unterru...?unterrubrik=50 The I. Ritter and the II. Ritter could be assistants for the king (Pagen). Regards Uwe
    17. Rick - award is correct, but not wear. All these men and women had enough medals at home . In my collection is one man with documents for 7 Kollektiv awards and 3 Aktivist awards. There are so many possible combinations: Uwe
    18. Hi Rick, "From my reading of Bartel & Karpinski despite the little hook on back this was worn without any pendant solely as a ribbon bar on less formal occasions. Full formal all five individual ones would have been worn" Sorry Rick, but that is not correct. It is both, the "ribbon" for the medal and the Interimsspange: "Die jeweiligen Medaillen-, Mehrfach- oder Ehrenspangen sind zugleich Interimsspangen." Only the bar with 1975 is without the hook: "Ein Haken f?r die Medaille ist nicht angebracht." Here is a document for such an award, page 1 - 4: Regards Uwe
    19. Hi, in my (German) documentation about the merit cross I can find regulations, and they say: Bronze 7 years of service (uninterrupted and excellent work) Silver 10 years Gold 15 years Uwe

    22. Here is the upper part of the jacket/shirt: Uwe
    23. Paul, I bought a green uniform (jacket and trousers) some years ago on ebay, maybe in 2004/2005. With some patches, badges, decorations, rank insignias and a red shoulder cord. It was sewn in poor quality (compared to German quality standard), here is the label: Uwe
    24. Hi Lorenzo, here is the reverse, together with another questionable set Thank you Uwe
